Coaching for Mavericks with Integrity
Most coaching asks what you want
and how to get there.
Diverge starts somewhere different.

There is more to you than the version of yourself that got you here. Diverge is about exploring that.

The work

We are not one identity. We are many. The work of Diverge is about understanding which parts of yourself are running your life; and finding the awareness to choose.

01 — UNDERSTAND
Identity
Know who is running the show.

We each carry dominant identities that formed in response to our lives; the capable one, the responsible one, the driven one. They are real and they have built everything you have. This is where we start; understanding what is running your life, and how.

02 — DISCOVER
Hidden Identities
Meet the parts that went quiet.

Alongside the dominant identities, we each carry parts of ourselves that went quiet; not gone, but unheard. The curious one. The one who needs rest. The one who knows exactly what needs to change. This is the work of discovering what they carry; and what becomes possible when they have a voice.

03 — CHOOSE
Conscious Choice
Get back in the driving seat.

When you can see clearly who is running things; and why; you recover the capacity to choose. Not to silence any part of yourself, but to hold all of it with awareness. That is the shift Diverge works toward; from pattern to presence, from reaction to genuine choice.

When everything changed
Who are you when everything you knew has shifted?

A diagnosis. A sudden bereavement. A relationship ending overnight. A job gone without warning. Whatever form it took; the ground disappeared and you are standing in the rubble trying to figure out what comes next.

This is not the slow unfolding of a life in transition. This is the moment everything changed at once. And the question it leaves you with is not what to do next. It is who you are now.

Diverge works with people at exactly this point; not to rush them through it, but to help them understand who they are inside it; and who they are becoming.

If you are ready to explore the answers, let's talk.

The identities that carried you before this moment may not be the ones this moment needs. The capable one, the strong one, the one who holds it all together; they are still there. But they are not the whole of what is available to you.

The work in this context is about understanding which parts of yourself are present; which are overwhelmed, which are steadier than you realised; and what becomes possible when you can see all of them clearly.

Not a programme. Not a process. A real conversation with someone who will stay with you in the difficulty; and help you find your own ground again.

The messy middle
Who in you is asking to be heard?

The slower transition. A life that no longer quite fits. A relationship, a career, a chapter that is shifting without a clear breaking point. The sense that something is stirring; even if you cannot yet name what.

The messy middle is where most people spend years; managing the surface while something underneath asks for attention. The restlessness. The hollowness after the wins. The version of yourself that keeps trying to get your attention.

If you are ready to explore the answers, let's talk.

What the messy middle is usually pointing to is not a problem with your life. It is the rest of you; the parts that went quiet in service of everything you have built; asking to be included.

The work here begins with understanding which version of yourself has been running things; and what it has cost. Then it moves to the parts that have been waiting; not to dismantle anything, but to bring more of who you actually are into how you are living.

The outcome is not a new life. It is a fuller one; lived from a more honest and more complete sense of who you are.

The performance edge
Who is driving your performance?

For high performers, elite athletes, founders and leaders who have built something exceptional; and sense there is another level available. Not by doing more, but by knowing more about who is doing it.

Self-knowledge is one of the most underused assets in high performance. Not as a therapeutic exercise. As a genuine competitive advantage. The performer who knows which part of themselves is in the driving seat; and can choose who drives; operates at a different level entirely.

If you are ready to explore the answers, let's talk.

Most high performers are being driven by a combination of ambition, discipline and anxiety. The ambition and discipline built everything. The anxiety keeps it all moving but at a cost; to sustainability, to relationships, to the capacity to actually enjoy what has been built.

The work here is about understanding which identities are running the performance; and whether that is by design or by default. It is about accessing the full range of who you are; so that you can bring the right version of yourself to what each moment actually requires.

Not less committed. Not less competitive. More conscious. More able to choose.

For organisations
Who are you as a business, really?

For founders and SMEs who know their business better than anyone but struggle to say who it actually is. The story is already there. This work surfaces it, shapes it and gives it language that actually sounds like you.

The same principle that applies to people applies to organisations. Most businesses communicate from the outside in; describing what they do, how they do it, what they charge. The ones that connect do something different. They communicate from the inside out.

The Diverge organisational work begins with a single question; who are you as a business when you strip away what you think you should say? From there it moves to your dream client, your real differentiator and the language that actually carries all of it.

The output is a Brand DNA document; a written articulation of who your business is, what it stands for and how it speaks. It becomes the foundation for everything your business says about itself from this point forward.

Founders who have been through this process describe it as the clearest they have ever been about what their business actually is; and the first time it has felt completely like them.

I am not going to try to change or transform you or what you are doing. I will help you find the key that will unlock what already exists inside you.

I have spent most of my career in high performance environments; working with elite athletes, designing player development programmes and building cultures that ask more of people than just their performance. What I have seen consistently is this: the people who go furthest are not the ones who gave the most to a single identity. They are the ones who knew themselves the most.

I bring a dynamic balance of directness and warmth, of challenge and genuine support. It is not always comfortable. It is always honest.

I coach individual athletes, artists, writers and leaders across sport, business and the nonprofit sector. Client confidentiality is fundamental to the work.

has moved something in you.

That is the beginning of the conversation. Diverge is not for everyone. It is for people who are ready to look honestly at who is running their life; and what becomes possible when they choose.
